Massage Therapy, Nutritional Counseling, & Self-wellness Guidance
What types of massage are offered?
There are several different types of massage therapy to choose from including relaxation/Swedish massage, medical massage, hot stone massage, Tui Na, AMMA, pregnancy massage, and sports massage. You can learn more about each of these here.
Is massage right for you?
I listen to my clients. After the intake form is completed, I spend as much time as needed with each client in order to learn more about what they are looking to get out of the session. It is important for each of my clients to disclose as much of their health history to me as possible. There are some health conditions and special circumstances which are contraindicated for massage therapy treatment. A doctor’s note for treatment may be required prior to a therapeutic massage. For example, a recent heart attack or surgery, the timing of radiation or chemotherapy versus massage therapy, pregnant women, new tattoos, or those taking certain medications.
Some individuals just want to relax in a clean and comfortable atmosphere, to put some space between their hectic lives and work, friends, & family. Other clients are looking for something more specific like increased joint mobility or relief from discomfort in muscles or joints. No matter your reason for seeking a professional massage, I address my clients as a whole person and not just a symptom. For example, a headache can have several causes. It may come from the sinuses, muscle tension of the back and shoulders, head trauma, spinal degeneration, spinal herniation, or a TMJ disorder.
Please print the intake form and consent form, fill them out, bring them with you to your appointment. All sessions are professional and confidential.

How is the type of massage chosen and how long is the session?
Everyone is different. Based on your individual needs and health, I will integrate one or more of the modalities I am trained in to offer you the most benefit from your session. Not every massage is appropriate for everyone. If there is a technique you are not familiar with, I will explain it to you so that you are comfortable and feel safe.
Sessions can be scheduled for half hour, hour, and hour-and-a-half times. Typically, my clients choose the length of time of each session, but there are exceptions and that will be addressed individually as necessary.
** Medical Massages are limited to half an hour. In my experience, the greatest benefit happens in a half hour massage. Massage might feel good right now, but listening to your body is a must. Your body needs time to heal.
** Pediatric Massages are timed based on the child’s age, attention span, and health. A parent or guardian is required to be with the pediatric client at all times, assisting with the minor’s intake form, signing the intake and consent forms, and present physically in the treatment room during the massage.
What else is offered?
The mind-body-spirit connection is all about how you feel and your connection to your SELF! What you put into your mind and body is reflected outwardly in your actions, thoughts, intention, health, attitude, decisions, and overall well-being. My training allows me to integrate, when & where appropriate, nutritional counseling, self-care tips, reflexology, acupressure, massage cupping, and autism movement therapy.

How does a Massage Party typically work?
The host will invite his/her guests and will provide all forms of entertainment, food, and beverage. One at a time, the host and their guests receive a chair massage ranging from 10-30 minutes. While the host and guests are mingling, I provide chair massage in an area that is somewhat to completely secluded from the rest of the event. Based on the location, atmosphere, and type of party, we may need to be creative.
Not only is offering chair massage at work extremely convenient for employees but it also shows their value to your company!
Benefits of workplace massage include:
- Employees remain fully dressed.
- It can be provided in an open area or in a private room.
- Employee productivity, attendance, and rapport increases.
- Reduces repetitive stress injuries and fatigue.
- Relieves neck, shoulder, and back tension.
I will bring my massage chair and everything necessary for me to work, including relaxing music.
My rate for Massage Parties is $65/hour with a two hour minimum. A travel fee may apply.
